I am a Hunting & 2nd Amendment Pastor...
TYRANNY + TREACHERY = TRAGEDY....
From my youth I've been connected with various organizations and different aspects of conservation and the environment. An avid outdoorsman, I've spent many a day in differing habitats such as forest, wetlands, cornfields and urban tundra. Although I started hunting late in life, the knowledge I accumulated with my years of being "out there" has equipped me with skills that have become invaluable to me as a sportsman and a "fair chase" ethical hunter.
As a teacher, I am passionate about the things I believe in and I look forward to passing that heritage along... I am very familiar with Patuxent Wildlife practices, Firearms training from the Maryland State Police an RSO [NRA Range Safety Officer] for DNR and a DNR Senior Hunter Safety Instructor. I also Web Master for Clyde's Sports Shop, a family "huntshack" for over the past 60 years.
I wrote the song "BUCKWILD" for Buckwild Outdoors Magazine encompassing all a types of hunting and I have written a few poems and articles on hunting. "...It don’t matter what the game is, Or your huntin' style, Just the chance to see some, Is sure to make ya smile... Whitetail's, Moose or Bear, Muzzle, Bow or Gun... Elk, Woodducks or Hogs, even Varmiting is fun... In mountains, lakes or woodlands... Fish or ducks or quail, Hidin' out on farmland, In rain or snow and hail... I’m Buck Wild...".
Observation is key to learning and so I believe in using our environment as the classroom. As a Pastor and an Instructor for Citizens Corps C.E.R.T. in Disaster Preparedness, the American Red Cross & Hunter Safety.
